Anyone change out their dash lights for a different color? I want to go with a blue LED to match my gauges.

No S H I T pal... I have red bulbs, they are not LED's.

I remember reading that the LED's do not distribute the light as well as the regular bulbs. You end up with bright spots in the dash.

This is true unless you have the new AuotMeter gauges that come with LED lighting.

Just swapping out an incandesent bulb for an LED will not give you the results your looking for.

I know somebody that changed all the LEDs in his truck to blue, took him almost a year to do cause all the bulbs are soldered in place in a GMC.

I looked into it for mine, have a few lights out above the speedo, changing my lights is easy cause their not LED. I lucked out, my 02 was the last year they used regular bulbs, so eventually Ill change them to blue.

TDR member "....yJam" (from WI) has blue LEDs in his dash (ETH/DEE 2nd Gen).
Some guy at IRP last year did his truck up in the parking lot in no time at all - it looks PIMP.

Put some LEDs in your AC vents while your at it, looks sweet at night.

I'm going to run some neon behind my grill but that's once I take care of my grill project itself.... :HoleShotHolset:
