G'day all! Read about this place on PSN so thought I'd come on over. I've been around diesels all my life but didn't get one of my own until April of 06. Currently live and work in Franklin, I'm a machinist at a small company there.

Hey Peroni, welcome. I work in Franklin, off of king street. I drive thru your fine town on Union street usually. I'll keep my eyes out for you! (btw, I drive a green dodge, cap on the back, smokie :smilielol: )

You're right....that doesn't sound right. :exactly: The way you put it, it sounds like we get together, hit the Wrentham Outlet for a little shoe shopping, get our nails and hair done then have lunch.

Ok, I know there's at least one or two of us in Uxbridge so maybe we can get together like in Bellingham or Milford?

And, no, not from what I know we don't get together too often. There is a cluster up north but it's a bit of an effort to get up that way because of traffic, time, etc.

So, if there's interest enough, lets get together sometime later this month in the southern 495 area - I'm game from Wrentham right up to Hopkinton. Ideas/thoughts???
p.s. sorry, peroni, I've hijacked your welcome thread, i do this all the time. But, I am trying to plan a party for you and all... LOL :HoleShotHolset:

Coolio! Maybe us southern MA folks will convoy up to the I290 area, didn't you say there is a good restaurant up there at one time, Doug? Like a 99? That'd work for everyone I think. It's a quick 20mile jaunt from Franklin area.

There sure is Art...exit 16 off 290 there is a 99 rest. If we come up with a number of attendees, we can call them and they will set us up in a semi-secluded area.

OK, look here, started a new thread calling all new Mass folks. Of course any / all are welcome. Not sure if I quoted the right place, I'm not familiar with the high-ways or 99s up that way. But anyway, have a look:

ah!! Cool. We'll have to grab a beer at the Union some time. I go to that hardware store occassionally on my way home too... small world, with more & more diesels. :smilielol:
