Do neither. Save the $$$'s and go with a s300 or phat shaft 62. You will outgrow the hybred quickly. Unless you get the hx40 for say 150-200 bucks then it's worth the effort. You can get a 300 for about 6 or 7 bills now being they are out there to be had for good deals.

Like ToolMan said, don't bother, go with the Phat Sahft or a HTB2.

I did one nad it gave me a little better breathing, but still pegged the`1600* mark.

i saw that earlier, and i decided to withdraw my interest in the hx 40 and look into this. When i recieve my tax returns i plan on either injectors and this or injectors and Dvs, but id problygo with the turbo housing first.
any one know what all is involved with the swap, because the way it seems its pretty easy.

Housing swap is easy. The big snap ring can be a real B'TCH sometimes.

I had to turn the housing on the HX35 I got from Turbo Tim. I had it on the truck, and had to take it back off to do the ring. :badidea: Make sure it all lines up before you tighten it down! :duh:

what do you mean by the ring
He probably means the internal seal...which looks like a mini piston ring.
