98 CTD 4 Sale In W Boylston

I went by it today. The reason I'm posting this info as it might be one of the :bowdown2: Holy Grail of Cummins rams as it's a QC and therefore, since it's a 98, might be a 12 valver.

Black 4x4 with a cap, located at a used independent dealer on Route 12, at the lights about a mile N of the connector to 190.

I'll try to take a spin down there if anyone knows someone who might be interested.

The quad cabs started in 98 although they were still making club cabs. I did notice it still had the door badges as I saw the red writing under the RAM 2500. It had to be a 2500 as it wasn't a dualie. A green 98 sticker was on the windshield.

I'll try to swing down tomorrow and get any info I can.

Ahhh but some are diamonds in the rough. Take Eamon's truck is a 1997 24 valve Club cab with 98+ interior and intense blue in color six foot bed.

I have also seen up at Scott's a 1998 12 valve quad cab/ no doors (club cab wahtever) red with 1998+ interior. There are some DC bastard trucks out there ... just where ?? :idea:

I went back this morning. It's a 12 valve! Very, very nice shape for a 98. No rust on the undercarraige. It was either stored during the winter or just came up here from the south. It was unlocked, but has a digital odometer so I couldn't see the mileage. No visible rust on it's black paint and has a cap as I mentioned.

SLT Laramie, 4x4, 47RE, CD player with the tan cloth interior with no rips. It almost looks new and no smoke or other odors in the truck. I wish this was available when I was looking two years ago. No price or other info listed on the truck.

98 was the last year you could get the 12 valve. It also has the newer style interior and opening rear quad cab doors unlike 94-97. It was also the introduction of the 24 valve engine in 98.5

I drove by that dealership in West Boylston today. The truck has either been sold, or someone was taking it for a test drive as it was not there.

Maybe it was in their garage and they were replacing the 12 valve with a properly valved unit. :stirthepot:
