View Full Version : Hey Dmcpherson
I remember you talking about building custom traction bar setups for our trucks. Did you ever come up with a design that would be good for a mostly street truck but stout enough for the occasional severe beating?:popc1:

yup kind of. I have a set goingon a big block chevy truck. pretty straight forward. Im waiting on some money to build myself a set. we ended up with very heavy tubing and huge heim jounts with custom machined adapters to weld into the tubing. bolt on.
if you want to pm me a price I may be interested. Are they rough riders or are they pretty decent on the street? Any Pics available? Thanks, Jim

I actually have them all peiced together but havent mounted them yet on the truck. I have to weld the tubing ends in and my buddys lazy and hasnt comeover to help me out. (kind of tough being 7 feet long, lol)
if I can every catch a break and have some money for my truck Ill be doing a set for myself. it likes to wheel hop with the bigger tires on it now
