box for a 99

ok...so i go to penn and get the 99 3500 dually and drive it home..no issues and the truck is real clean. i go to plug in my BD box from my 2001 and the plugs are different. how can i drive this truck stock??????
any suggestions? does anyone have a box for a 99?

i also have some questions as to what to do with some holes on the truck. the first set are on both outside mirrors....the 2nd are on the over head console. i have no idea how to fix/patch these holes....anyone???

You can prolly plug in the can-bus plug (if that's what it's called) on the back o' the pump and it'll work like the old Van Aaken that didn't have a map plug.
Simply won't have boost foolin'.

Yuup, I told him that about a week ago :smilielol: , the map is only for boost fooling, just use the data link connection.

i looked under the hood yesterday and the map sensor appears to be a round plug, where the one on the box looks like a three prong plug..

and the data link is triangle shape...and the box plug isn't..maybe i am wrong...i'll look again this morning. i have the directions from the BD box, but they don't show much.

must have been cb antennas on the mirrors? thats kinda a dumb spot:dunno:

ok everyone...just so you all don't think i'm an idiot..todd himself looked under the hood of my new truck himself and the wiring plugs are different, so my BD box won't work...but we found a few other surprises too...right todd?? :woohoo:

Yeah like ummmm, a Fass, a LUK clutch, a newer VP, a 4 inch exhaust, and the remnants of a TST and EZ or sometin like it, this truck has one of the best front ends I have ever felt, the truck is very nice and in great shape, now to find him a box or 2.

i hope i can find a tuner to see what the truck really has...driving it stock is driving me crazy....its soooo lazy compared to my 01 with the edge box in it.
