No Problem :HoleShotHolset: looked great when i first did it now its on the rough side starting to chip used rustoleum :97DodgeCTD: im thinkin about redoing it over the summer with paint made for plastics and doing it so its a black glossy finish and a nice new black grille :woohoo: just another project thats in my price range :smilielol:

Thanks, well my bullydog 6" exhaust was getting too loud, so i put my old 6x36 stack back on my truck but under it like you see, todd gave me the idea but i didn't fully understand and thats what i came up with and its much quieter then my bully dog exhaust which is still for sale dirt cheap too.

It was supposed to look like mine except the turnout should have been angled from under the truck, kinda like coming out like this / but a little more pronounced.

thats what i wanted to do, but the piping is already touching the frame, so that is as high as it can go, but i can turn the stack so its angle and then you wouldn't see as much of the exhaust, or i could paint it black, so you wouldn't notice it.

I think thats what warped my rear rotors, they were all done in about 20 minutes from the first to the last, i cant believe how long ago that was, how far she has come!!!!!!!

The rotor had an orange tint to them when i was done and tire's were down to the steel belts but still held air!!!

Free reciever off a burban,cut it down and offset it to the driverside by 3"-4 " and welded it to the frame well enough to hold 15 100lb weights, scrap 2" receiver stock and 5/8 angle to hold the weights, remove it with a pin!

Nice truck! My dad had a V10 and loved it. It was a 96, and came from the factory with the same amount of torque as the diesel that year, and more horsepower.

Almost, it got 12 no matter what you did with it. But it was great for him, he couldn't ever justify a diesel when its a 4 mile commute to work and he would never get heat on the way down with a diesel.

I seen some acessories for that truck down in Englishtown. Girl was running around in a lifted 7.3 extended cab short bed truck, with 6" PINK turnout stacks, PINK ladder bars and the PINK tube steps to get in and out with. Will go good with that Pink cummins sticker lol

already was in the truck. looks like the packaging is pretty old. the guy I bought it from drove the truck to atlanta towing his fishing boat on a weekly basis, so I would guess it was pretty reliable. he bought an 08 duramax new and already has 130,000 miles on it.

Thanks. Im going to try like hell to leave this truck as stock as possible, so I don't have any issues especially with the transmission. right now I can put it in gear and it will idle up a small hill in drive or reverse. all the shifts seem nicely spaced out, and very positive like a stock tranny should.
