Anyone know what size the fittings and lines are on our trucks? I am going to be redoing all my lines and need to buy all the fittings from the master all the way to the axles. Think I might try a line lock too for easier boosted launchs :stirthepot:

i don't know the size, but napa probably has pre bent lines for the truck (they do for chebbys).

I think I will just buy a roll of the coated tubing and bending / flaring them myself. Guy at work has a proffesional flaring tool from when he was a mechanic he said I could use.

Should be mostly 3/16's, Evan. American thread, standard flare. The long one to the back might be bigger, I can't remember.

Brake lines are probably one of the most common jobs at work, especially this time of the year, thanks to the salt in the CT/MA/NY corner here. I do so many they all just blend together now :97DodgeCTD: :smilielol:

And IMO, prebent lines are a waste of money. Just my opinion.

and also the flexible lines are garbage imo also.. they shift around and have a funny pedal feel.. bend them up yourself..

The one from the front to the back is 3/16". I did mine last year. I'm not sure on the thread pitch but if you look at the pre-fabbed straight lengths of 3/16" that the store has, its the same ends as those.
