Hello everybody my name is Tony, I am an auto mechanic in the northwest corner of connecticut working in a small town garage, I work on all models and makes of vehicles, been in the automotive buisness for 10 years, at a body shop in my younger years, in the past 8 as a mechanic, my true passion is welding/fabrication/vehicle customizing, I do that as a small buisness on the side I am not a master of any of this stuff, but I strive on doing the best job I can possibly do and always try to throw my own spin on things, and most Importantly stay honest. All modifications to my truck were done by me except for the paint, the truck was painted by a friend of mine, body mods include projector head lights billet grille and bumper inserts harley davidson chrome tow hooks stainless bed rails and tailgate protector chrome door handle inserts 2005 emblems, I built the steps and head board, exhaust system and cold air intake from scratch...... The truck itself is a 99 F 350 XL 4x4, 7.3 powerstroke, 6 speed, 3:73 gears ATS 6 bank chip, custom built cold air intake, Hays performance clutch, custom built exhaust 4" off the turbo to 5" T pipe in bed dual chrome 5" stacks, no muffler, no cat, no problem, suspension mods include a 2.5 inch leveling kit in the front and Air Lift bags in the back for helper springs. I bought this truck 3 years ago completely stock , it was in need of some TLC with 120,000 on the clock. Mechanically the truck was perfect, the original owner of the truck was a very good friend of mine who was religious about maintenance and warranty isssues, and would only use ford repacement parts. Cosmeticaly the truck was a little rough around the edges so I had a buddy of mine do the body work and paint, once the truck looked presentable all the mods came, I try to keep the truck clean, but it's a daily driver and gets worked pretty hard, it spends a majority of it's time hooked to my 20 foot trailer hauling cars and trucks in the new england area, and in the summer even spends a few test and tune nights at Lebanon Valley Dragway, It's an awesome truck, It just recieved it's first clutch at a 150,000 which I thought was pretty good for a stock clutch, as you can probably see by reading this I am very proud of my truck, It aint the best truck in the whole world but I am very proud of what I've accomplished with it, so on that note it was nice to meet everyone and I'm looking forward to being a member of a site dedicated to the new england diesel truck brotherhood. Later, Tony
