Guys, just a heads up, last year, they ran 1 diesel class, first truck started pulling around 12:30am, I got out of there at like 1:45am. This year, the class has been moved to Saturday afternoon, they have a limted class size, and the truck is either only 250' or 260', and there is no chance for a longer pull because a brick wall stands at the end of the track. I enjoyed it, but honestly, the alcohol tractors are so loud, and the exhaust from there literally burns your eyes, that if i wasn't a half hour away, I'd skip it. Diesel truck class will last about 60-90 minutes. Other stuff is kind of cool to watch, but the alcohol (or whatever that god awful fuel is they run) burnt my eyes/throat so bad, I couldn't bear to be inside that building.
Just a heads up for anyone thinking about making the trip. If you are a die hard pulling fan, and your love goes beyond diesel trucks, then this is your event. Smoker tractors are cool, but you can't see the smoke because of the smoke tubes, so even that is kind of a let down.

Thanks for the input Ted. I was thinking of making the 4hr drive, but if thats all there is going to be for diesel trucks, I think im gonna skip this one. I thought it would be an all day long kind of event, but sounds like it would be a bummer to drive all that way to come home with alot less braincells :exactly:

No problem, this is definitely a pulling event first and foremost. diesel trucks are basically an afterthought. Figured I'd save someone some disappointment. I'll take pics/vids so if anything cool happens, I'll be sure to post it. :HoleShotHolset:
