The wait is over finnaly found a rig, not exactly what i wanted but couldnt pass it up, to clean to pass by for the miles, Found a 2 owner 98 24valve 5spd with 150K 2nd owner had it since 30k, had fass put on at around 110k when vp tooka a.... 4inch banks"5inch strait on its way", tanneu cover, toolbox, backrack said always serviced, very clean for the miles. Alredy put my k/n and edge comp in from last truck, goin to put phatshaft in as soon as i get a 5inch gotta blow some dust off 1st. Alrite now a couple ?'s monday goin to hopefully talk to previous owners mechanic and see if 3rd and 5th gear nuts or w/e have been fixed or w/e they do, so my ? is If it is done should i just get better inputshaft and stay with 5spd or swap 6spd, if 3rd and 5th not done possibly leaning towards nv5600. for rate now wanna get to around 400 to maybe 450hp longterm future not sure. Any input welcome

Thanks and glad to be back Couldnt stand 318 magnum fumes anylonger

oh yah paid 9500$ little more then i wanted to pay but like i said couldnt pass it up and couldnt stand not rowing a inline 6 cyl power house down the road

GOD DAMN I LOVE A CUMMINS

No serious damage can result, but i guess if i was gonna replace it with a 6spd it wouldnt really matter either way. just wouldnt want to F*** anything else up that i wasnt planning on replacing/fixing. The biggest reason im kinda itchen bout it is dont wanna go spend 1200 bucks on a clutch then have to take it all part again when it ....s out, or is it not to intense of a job im sure its involved, but just tryin to figure out best route to take, thanks guys
and yah gonna probaly order 5inch tomm. from ebay
