Geez Jake engine wise not too much but with all the 88 riggamaran between the central timer, ecm , pcm and what it needs to see to run vs what is not there anymore is a feat. Jimbo may be able to chime in here on this.

so im keeping the wiring from the passenger side im taking it thats the pcm$ which thos wire go to the tranny which im hoping will run my overdrive and torque converter lockup. Im confused on which wires i should keep on my 12 valve or what i shud switch ov er the wiring from the 24 valve?

i saved the entire 24V harness. just adapted the 24V sensors to fit the 12V engine.

k im gettin this so far now for the tranny im keeping the factory 99 wires vacume lines obviusly are easy but do you no what wires il have to cut and put dfferent ends onto to run my rh and for the tps what wire do is use fromthe 24v systme theres 4 or five where as the 12 valve only has 3,and im not understanding how im going to get the tach to work . if you have time pm so i can talk on the ohone . thanks jake

if your using an rh I would use a harness from a 98 12 valve, scott from mass diesel has done this on redhotwelds truck and he says it was pretty easy. on my 12V swap I used the 47re, which made that part easier.

No bus is no communication with the ECM. Can be as simple as a blown fuse for the ECM maybe a missed ground wire. That wouldnt let the alternator charge either I think.
