The pulls are on Friday night from 4-11pm...... Me and scott are suppose to be meeting with one of the directors of the program this week to come up with actual "Legit" rules so everyone has the same set up...... we arent sure when sign up starts but we will know by the end of the week and i will Keep you guys posted as to whats goin on.
Here is the link to the rules for the actual Fair at the end of september. Its run by the same guy so its prolly goin to be the same. If the classes are the same as the fair then there will be....
Lite diesel class 6,300lbs.
Normal diesel 8,000lbs.
and open 10,000lbs.

So I take it if something isnt stated in the rules as not allowed then its allowed? (blocked rear):popcorn:
Also try to get water approved does not help performance much and helps with EGT's

yea Jim water-meth is a priority. They always alow it in open class but im goin to try and get it for the regular classes. Plus these rules arent Collas rules so he is goin to have to follow them or hes goin to have to pull in the open class.

Hey Bigsmoke, can you get us NETDP guys registered so we don't have a problem gettin in???? We went to Haddam Neck last year and were turned away.

The update on the rules are:
No bump stops - except for open
No hanging weight -except for open
No water meth -except for open
Hitch height 26"
Helmet required
weight in bed is allowed in 8,000lb. but must be secured
Top two from each class with be scaled out.
pretty much same as portland.
Classes:
Gas
Diesel 8,000lb. Duallys allowed
Open 10,000lb. Anything goes
Registration starts a 4:00 and pulling starts approx. 6:30-11:00pm

Tim- you would have to run in open. the 8,000lb is for single turbos only. If something changes you be the first to know. Time for ya to make a front weight bracket :exactly:
Inline- the pull is located at the Durham fair grounds in Durham CT if you have ever been to the fair the pull is goin on at the bottom of the hill near the livestock barn. Click on the link i posted earlier and it will give you directions.

i dont see why that would be a problem jim. Just dont make it known..... BTW would you be able to swing up to my house one nite this week to give me a hand timing my truck? Ill give you some fuel money. that would be sweet. im in wallingford about 15mins from durham fairgrounds

Chris, I got you down for a pre reg spot just try and get there for around 5-530 at the latest. I dont think there is a gate charge but dont hold me to it. if anything it will be no more than $10 See ya there

You can add as much as it takes to weigh in at 10,000. Make a weight rack and hang as much as you can in the front and whatever is left, toss in the bed.

hey guys i talked to one of the guys who will be running the event and sounds like its goin to be a good time the track is a little on the short side i was told its 200ft but there gunna try to squeeze an extra 50ft out of it i will be goin up there this week to check it for myself.there is a sound ordinance i was told it had to be over by 11pm so we will see how that goes.jim i will talk to one of the guys who is putting on the show and ask about water.any other questions let me or matt know.

Ya the one that sometimes forgets to transfer or the pan dont drop. Still the best one around though!

The fair itself is in sept with a pull then,but the test pull for the new track is this friday.Its just a reg pull no fair or nuttin.

yea its this friday sign up starts at 4pm...... Jim BTW Straight water injection is allowed. and if anyone has a truck that weights under 6500lbs they will let us pull with the gassers just for funn. If anyone is interested talk to me or scott and well tell you how to sign up... Ill be pullin in the light class to get prepared for the actual fair!

really tight track almost everyone did full pulls first time out.Some new D maxes there I never seen before too.Best run most organized fasted truck pull I never been too.They really moved through the trucks nicely like it should be done.

yeah i was happy with the way it went.and i finally made it to my first sled pull of the season and i made it to the best one so far. hey ryan was that you i passed on the way out when you were coming in.matt truck sounds strong now just get them tires on and you should do really good.
