"David Borden, now a Democratic member of the state House, is trying not only to make it easier to get biodiesel in the state, but to make it the rule rather than the exception. He introduced a bill that would be the first step in creating a statewide initiative to replace 20 percent of the state's fossil fuels used in diesel and home heating oils with biodiesel produced from vegetable oils and animal waste."

Thats awesome. I have some oddball ideas of moving up there and going into the alternative fuels biz.
The only downside to bio is the quality is hit or miss while the process is standardized. And the smell is kind of nasty. Better than #2 though.

what does BIO Fuel do for our 'already short' fuel filter life??

Bio will loosen up some already existing sludge in your tank+lines etc, so if you have a older truck you may need to do 2 in a 15K span (or maybe more) but once its all flushed out as long as the source is decent 15K wouldnt be out of the question, its refined to the same standards as #2D

Biodiesel Bill drove by your house? Did you say hi? :falldownlaugh:

Dude I hope more and more legislation gets the axe with the sticky fingered Government entities trying to wrench every red cent of "We need a piece of the pie" taxes.

I am so in favor of the little guy here it isn't even funny. the fact that the "Flex" farmers are being subsidized at this point with proffits rising ABOVE the 500% mark makes me sick being the Gov't now has interest in corn all of a sudden.

I hope and prey that THIS becomes the norm and not the other.
