Ok, so i was trying to install new back up lights, there was already a set but they were kinda beat, and eveything was going well, i got one of the new lights hooked up and checked the lights, everything looked good. I finished everything up and checked them again, none of my back up lights where working????? i checked the grounds the fuses and nothing. i also noticed that the rotary switch that you can use to Dim the dash dosent turn on my cab lights now??
Any ideas anyone?? i am stuck and would appricate the help!
Thanks

which fuses control the back up lights???
i have another problem now i went to start my truck and my battery was down around 9.5-10 amps!! i had to jump it and now none of gauges work only my speedo, battery and EGT gauge, my bully dog gauges dont even read except for tranny temp!
ahhh!
bad ground maybe? plates shorting out inside the batteries?

Gauges Are all set I just notice my running lights aren't working either iv checked every fuse that makes sense I'll have to try to find all the grounds

did you check all the fuses, both under the hood and in the cab? how did you wire them? meaning where did you tap into for all your connections? Are they fused, and on a relay? I agree with the ground/short theory. I have a wiring diagram from KC hilites that I used to install mine, I can make a copy and send it to you if you think it would help.

Do you have a fax machine? I can fax them to you, or I can try to scan them and email them to you tomorrow, or I can copy them and drop them in the mail. PM me how you want me to send them, and the appropriate contact info,(email address, fax #, name, etc) and I'll dig them out and try to send them tomorrow.
