I always had good luck with a Blue Chip box.

I dont have much info on the Blue chip box. Is it a reliable unit with good power gains?

how much power do you want to make? what are you ultimate goals? do you tow or race?

Im looking to build a good street truck. I dont tow much. I might take it to the drags a few weekends a month so im not looking for crazy power. Just looking for a good programmer and clutch to hold more power. The stock clutch is on the way out so need that with or without more power. I was also looking for a programmer with high idle for those wonderful sub zero mornings.

If you know someone with a SMARTY they can upload a program, then put it back to stock. That will give you the high idle you want.

My advice would be to buy a bigger clutch than you think you need. Ive got an OFE thats about 2 years old and its starting to give up. If I knew any better when I was in the market for a clutch i would have gotten a dual disc from the get go. What good is any kind of power adder if you cant get the power to the ground. My truck has always been under the advertised HP/TQ rating that SBC gives the OFE. There are some fairly priced low plate load DD clutches out there too. Like the 3250lb non SFI's from both SBC and Valair. I think my next clutch will be a Kenny's Street Puller triple disc.:exactly:

Ive heard good things about the smarty. One of the reasons i mentioned the quadzilla is the adjust on the fly and the pulse module has all the gauges in it.
