6.0 BG Intake cleaning

Has anyone here done this to their 6.0's? I personally have performed this 100+ times and finally feel like we have this foolish EGR situation under control with the E-Series 6.0's... For those of you near by I can scan in the write up on this and post the whole process if anyone is interested... if everyone just deletes it then I wont bother :falldownlaugh:

and this is after... I wish this picture came out better but the metal was so clean the flash blinded the picture for the most part.

Guessing from the second to last pic it gets shot out the exhaust

Wish I had some pics when I pulled my EGR valve, its was way beyond plugged, took me a couple minutes poking at it with a screw driver before I even found the upper opening :nutkick: Then has to rig up a funnel to a shop vac to clean out the chunks of carbon that dropped into the intake

yeah i saw that after, i dunno if im to crazy about unloading all that junk into the combustion chamber, ive seen some pretty hard chunks of carbon fall out of these intakes when theyre off, hate to see what damage that could do. yeah it can get pretty nasty in there, im glad i havent run EGR on mine, stays pretty clean.
