I went last year, and from what I remember as rolandj said its in september.

Was ABSOLUTELY worth the 5 hour 1 way drive, in my opinion. TONS of trucks, and lots of racing too. I think this year I am gonna find a hotel down there sometime, turned out to be a REALLY long 24hr trip from driveway to driveway.

we stayed at a nice little camp ground about 10 min. from the track thats where I'll be again. good show tons of big rigs but not enough pick ups IMO but we'll see this year.

I didn't really pay attention to how many pickups where there, but it seems like quite a lot, the tech line was pretty much filled with them and it was about a mile long. Took forever to get through tech, but at least the 2 guys behind me were throwing a sweet rave party in their truck LOL gave me a good laugh watching them juice the throttle to make the truck dance and put out little puffs of smoke while dancing around in the cab :smilielol:

I made one pass just to say I did it, but main reason I was there was to check out the rigs, and been looking forward to getting back ever since. Met up with some Jersey power stroke guys, but only NETDP member I saw down there was Tom (sooter) maybe we should set up a NETDP camp for the 10' show.

Here are some pics I had from it, TONS of trucks of all sizes and makes, http://www.facebook.com/#!/album.php?aid=2042674&id=41901877

nice pics, i went with a group of guys from CHERRY HILL CONSTRUCTION, they had a sea container full of stuff, they had tents, grills, coolers full of food, fire pit, you name it they had it, including air tools, and i saw a couple of their trucks in your pics.

wouldnt be a bad idea to get a convoy going again, we used to do it about 4 years ago.

Thanks, loved the show and probably would have taken more pics if I coulda. Thats pretty sweet, I saw lots of groups that had some pretty awesome setups. What color were there trucks? Can't wait to get down there again

Now your talkin. I kept looking to see if I saw any trucks I recognized while on the way down. Thought I saw Dave Jacobs at one point but wasn't him.

thanks for the info jim.

and cherry hills trucks were red, most of them hauled containers, and they had two old trucks, one was an old green dump truck that was fully retored, and the other one was a gas chain drive with crank start in the front. there trucks were next to the orange SRS truck.

Whats the plans, whose heading down and when are ya thinking of making the drive?

Last year I left the driveway at 3am saturday, got there for just after 8am (with stops). Ended up leaving the track a bit after 9pm that night and pulled back into the driveway at 3am. Not planning on making another 24hr trip this year so thinking of getting a hotel room (holiday inn points to use up) saturday night and making the trip back on sunday.

Looking forward to it again this year

I'm going to head down as long as the work schedule permits. I go to the drag races every year but havent been to the diesel drags.

Not sure yet, probably try and find a near by holiday inn or so for saturday night and using up some points for a free room.

We stayed here: http://bestwesternnewjersey.com/hotels/best-western-east-brunswick-inn When we went to the NHRA Super Nationals and it was good. Its very convenient to the race track, only about 2 miles up the road, and its in a GREAT location. There is a Denny's, Red Lobster, IHOP, and Olive Garden within about a hundred feet. :HoleShotHolset:

Don't think I'll be able to go though, I'm going to Lake George the week before for the Adirondack Nationals hot rod show and I doubt I'll be able to afford to do both and still pay my mortgage, but hey, who needs a credit rating anyways?? :falldownlaugh:
