yeah i plan on it once i get a set of valve springs.i keep reading about clicks and then on piers web site they say to measure it.what is the differance if you add more clicks or less.and what is the right way to do it.

I have heard do 3 or 4 clicks after the initial click and that pretty much equals the measurement where it should be set. If you do this wrong it might idle really high so that will be your indicator that there is a problem and you need to adjust it. Also it might help if you can find somewhere on the web the trucks episode where they did that the kdp and some other good stuff for our trucks. But Im pretty sure that is the only video made about that job.

I use the veneer caliper but counting the clicks works too! Make sure all the old shims come out and dont drop anything in the pump! The Fuel shutoff solenoid arm should come off, putting it back on theres a woodruff key that likes to fall out be careful not to loose it.
