I took this pic in the barn the other night. It was cold out - so the little buggers were huddled up to keep warm.

lucky you ... I have 16 acres on a 185 acre pond and I cant figure HOW TO ATTRACT BATS... How did you do it ??

Flip,
you can build a shallow box, like 2-3" wide by 12" long by 7-8" deep put a dowel attached in the bottom of the box then hang it upside down in your eaves. Bat should come to "roost" in there. Or, buy a "bat box" from someplace- prolly find a place like "Bug Spray" (try bugspray.net) online that sells them too.

Bats are neat, I'm surrounded by wetlands and I don't have much of a skeeter problem either. . .

thanks...I have hundreds of sparrows,1 paragrin falcon, hawks 2 golden eagles and...shhhhhhhh...piping plovers (endangered) living on and around the farm ,BUT NO BATS....
