Looking to ad overload springs in the rear (like the camper package ones from factory) or am looking into firestone bags. Dont need to put a compressor on board, you can just run a line to the bumper where you can pump air into them. Getting way to much sag and body roll with heavy tounge weight trailers. (yes i need a dually) but to help what do you think would be better. Both are priced about the same.

Find a spring shop and have a new set made so it will still ride like stock but handle the weight better. sometimes it cheaper to get a whole new setup then to piece together what you think you need.

I have bags on mine and really like the way they work. I found the overload springs on the dually I had didn't really do much until the load was really heavy. With the bags you get adjustability all the time no matter what the load. I like the ability to tailor my ride no matter what I am carrying. I also have them routed out through the receiver hitch and use a small portable compressor to fill it when necessary.

yea bags seem like the new thing now everyone is going with. When you have no load and you load them up with air does the truck sit higher in the rear end?

A little bit, may be an inch or 2. The ride is crazy bouncy though! I keep mine at around 10psi when empty.

A Good alternative is the Timbren springs. I use them and have loaded well over a ton of stone, dirt, ect.. into the bed of the truck with very Minimal sagging! You can get a set for 195 from A.W. Direct in Berlin

I like bags too myself, they are easy to install as well. You might want to look around there are more alternatives than just Firestone, such as Air Lift.

I have bags too def the way to go,I put overload springs on my last truck they are brutal when empty, It takes 2 seconds to dump the air when empty an you have your ride back to normal.
