Well I stopped this am to fuel up at the Mobil station where i normaly go and what do i see on the pump but big letters "BIODIESEL B5" so i go inside and ask the guy if this is really bio or a joke and find out that they no longer carry regular straight diesel fuel. So i head down the highway and get regular diesel fuel at some other place. Whats the deal with b5? I dont really want to put that in the ctd not having done any research at all. Anyone else see their favorite station switch over and is anyone else running this :wtf2:

That is interesting for sure. Cummins approves a B5 mixture, at least on their website I read that. I've run B20 with no problems. It costs more so I'm not sure of the advantage (other than using alternative fuels).

Minnesota was going to mandate that all diesel fuel be 2%. That might even be in place now.

I hope everyone's carrying an extra fuel filter, especially for trips.

My last fuel filter only lasted 3,000 miles before it plugged so I would not leave the yard without a spare :m2c:

I've been running B20 with no issues.
