July 3rd Annual Fireworks Tailgate Party (Stratford)

Once again, we will be meeting for the Stratford fireworks show on July 3rd (Tuesday Night).

As usual, if you bring it, we'll grill it, drink it, burn it, light it... :TMTT:

Yes it is in a church parking lot, but don't be afraid... We ALWAYS have a great time till all hours of the evening, and morning :coorslight:

I'd like to make it, but it's 2hrs or more for me, and the kids might freak with 4 hrs in the truck on that day. Any thing to share on what else it might be like? Are there kid events, etc that might be interesting for the family? I might combine it with a trip to NYC... I've never driven my truck to NYC. Has anyone here? (I mean more than over the GWB)
What else happens on this event? Sounds nice so far.

Also, what is the SEEfood event?

As far as the fireworks, yes there are some kid activities, however most of the time is just spent "tailgating".

If you are interested in NYC, you could spend the night in Milford and take the train into NYC. Milford hotels are only about 10 minutes from where we will be. Safe parking also at the Milford train station.
