dad does, but all it has is an exhaust. there are very few performance 6.0's in nh though

AHAHAHA I HAVE to get you a video of my truck with 4" straight pipe, the compressor wheel is f$%^% so the turbo is twice as loud as it should be.

i found a 2wd rc lb 6.0 on ebay, 323 miles brand new 05, but it was a stick :nutkick:

The 03' 6 liters are the loudest IIRC, less vanes on the turbo.......Sound like f-16 on roids:omg:

variable geometry turbo, they are designed to act like a small turbo at low engine speeds and a big turbo at high engine speeds. eventually im going to retrofit one onto my 7.3 and possibly make a compound setup using the VGT and a big ole garrett

OH, OK, I've heard some that spooled way up from the stop-start. Obviously planned for in this case. MY last truck was a ford, old one like '92 rust bucket. I couldn't take it anymore when every day needed a lift of the hood or something... Otherwise, plenty of fun. :) My Cummins is definitely more torque and louder..

my dad ran without the cat for a couple weeks and it literally hurt my ears when the motor was cold...gets a little quieter when warmed up (04 model with an 03 motor/turbo). i wish my turbo was that loud, except at 20psi and not like 10 on a 6.0

oh yes, with a high flow air filter...it's still not as loud as an 03 6.0 turbo without a cat though. i guess i need twins to be happy.:dunno:

like it said..it literally hurt our ears at 5-10psi when cold, so the cat went back in. it seems most of the noise comes out of the exducer i guess since it was that loud with a stock intake...?

A/T is faster in the 1/4 mile. You need at least 100 more HP with a manual tranny to keep up with an auto at the track.
