For example, with your help, we have: renovated a bedroom to be handicap accessible and built a wheelchair ramp for a medically fragile teen; built a specialized safe outdoor play area for a child blinded by cancer; purchased and installed a wheelchair lift for a young teen bound to a wheelchair by spina bifida; and we have helped numerous other children suffering from cancer & other medical problems.
Join us in our efforts to help bring the light back into the life of a child and their family!

Jim are you going to this one ?
If you and the guys are going I might cruise up to derby and follow you from there.
Maybe I can talk Hammer into going but I think i will follow him up to Derby instead of him following me

I think it could be a good time. Especially at a Dodge Dealership. It seems to be for a good cause.. Maybe post it over on TDR and see what kind of reaction it gets or I could post it over on www.Dodgetalk.com. That is a all Dodge website that might get some people from the Northeast US to be there.

I will be there. I have to drop the wife off at Bradley in the am (around 7:30 am)and then I am a "free" man for a week. What time are you guys going up there. Save me a spot in the NETDP section. My friend with a very nice hemi 1500 is also going.
Chad figure around 10:00 or somewhere near there. Will try to cordon off a area big enough for the # of trucks we expect to come.

whats it doin rob?
Here is my post from TDR:
I seem to be having what I believe is a transmission problem actually a torque converter problem but I just need to hear it from someone else. First let me tell you about the engine. It is a 94 with a #5 plate, 191 delivery valves, 370 injectors and a HX-40 turbo. The automatic transmission is stock and I knew this was only a matter of time especially with 38”tires that the transmission was bound to let loose. Anyway coming home from a show yesterday I was traveling about 50 mph and in 4th gear converter not locked up and I got on it hard and mashed the pedal to the floor and it took off and seemed like it lost a ton of power, the engine was revving high. When I went back to cruising speed and the boost fell off from what it used to be at that cruising speed (like 15 lbs.) down to nothing and every time after that when I got on the pedal it took longer to build up the boost and the engine was higher in the rpm range then it ever was. It just seems like it has no power and it slipping but I dont know that for sure. I dont know if it is the Turbo or the transmission. Any suggestions or solutions would be great.
 do you have a trans temp guage?
6BT-Dakota
07-17-2007, 07:11 PM
Yes I do and it was never higher then 180
weird man you would think if it was slipping that much it would get hot.

I finally came back to this site (well from the old one) after...dunno guys... how long was I gone? 3 years I think. Came back every now and then but could never find the time to play. Last thing was Muncie in 2003. Wow, so long ago.
Would love CO (been there and around there MANY times) but the state is becoming tooooo populated. I'm moving to a town that has a whole 1400 people living in it.....YES!!!!!!:HoleShotHolset: (that's awesome....this smilie is named after holeshot!!
