Seems like a little bit of overkill on the rules especially if your a weekend warrior. Have a commited 2.6 puller But don't see myself pulling at these events if there that serious about all those rules and regs. Like neutral lights fire extinguishers etc. seems like rules for 1000 hp rigs. Just my 2 cents

Maybe the street legal diesel class would suit you better?

Yah didn't see that part only thing is does it have to be legit street legal cause truck has a salvage title therefore I put a fuel cell and a air water intercooler making it little hard to run on the street. Or is it just the name of the class?

whats it cost to hook? i have a 2nd cp3 on my truck so that means i'd have to pull in 3.0 with a 2.6 truck?

I think do a 2.6 class instead I would think you would get more of a draw could be wrong though not sure how Many 3.0 trucks are around

You guys aren't allowed to run dual CP-3's in the 2.6 Class?

Yah good point neutral light and fire ext are kind of minuscule and seems like alot of rules are simalar as I've been looking guess I'm still in Denial about crashing my 2.6 daily driver into a tree. :97DodgeCTD: hahaha

Ya, I read them a little later after posting :97DodgeCTD: I feel sorry for you guys, too many different rules at different venues. Too bad everybody couldn't get together on the basics. This way you guys have something to build toward. Settle on something like NADM and if you want to change minor things that are easy for trucks to adjust, then great. Tough in your case to drop a CP-3, not even worth it. If you Pulled up a class, I guess it's good for more seat time and to see if new mods helped. Treating it like a test and tune. These venues lose trucks rather than gain.

I'm fortunate down here, I can Pull anywhere in Florida. I can Pull with Straight Diesels series and they utilize Virginia, North & South Carolina. Pulls in Kentucky and Georgia. I doubt I'll ever bring my truck up to Connecticut when I do head up, it's not worth the aggravation. The only way it would come up if I was Pulling with Straight Diesel on my trip up.

NADM still does not have that protrusion rule. But, of course Scheids does because they made a 3.0 charger pass that protrusion rule. And now, so do some other companies. My buddy picked up one from E.D. Huge difference from the old school technology of cutting wheels to fit. He needed it for TS. Florida does not have a protrusion rule. We have an open class for the twin guys.

It's just a PIA up there with all the different rules, it would be nice if you all came together.

I really have to drill four 3/8" holes in my $800 down pipe and run 2 bolts through them for the stock 8k diesel class? sorry guy not gonna happen. your rules seem very strict in some areas and very vague in others.

Ya, we have that down here if the muffler and cat have been changed from stock or removed, the bolts are needed.
