Hi everyone, I just wanted to introduce myself. I don't think I need to explain what I do for a living because my screen name does that, but I am also a sales rep for Dyno Dynamics (http://dynodynamics.com) dynos and HalTech Engine Management Systems (http://haltech.com).. I cover all of New England, New York, and eastern Canada.
I live about 20 minutes south of Boston, have 1 son that graduated high school this June, 2 dogs, and 1 mean cat. My wife and I enjoy camping, hiking, and watching the Red Sox beat the Yankees. We also volunteer for animal rescue groups.
I don't have any pictures of my rig, but when I get the trailer re-lettered and cleaned up, I will definitely take some and post them here.
Also, thank you bow2no1 for referring me to this site.

Hey MobileDynoDude,
Welcome!!! Enjoy the site. Lots of good fun here.
About sox-vs-yanks... um, I was born and raised in the greater boston area. I then lived in up-state VT and NH, and then suddenly moved to downtown NYC. (Yeah, shock to say the least). I suggest wearing a sox cap to yankee stadium..... It's um an interesting event... I'll leave it at that :smilielol:
Becareful about listening to the CT guys, they are part of the tri-state area and are deeply involved with the yanks and all things related... but the flip side is that most of norther NE doesn't think they are part of NE at all... :falldownlaugh: J/K dudes, just pokin' fun
All a good playing family.
Now the best team to watch this year in my opinion is the sox vs mets...
I say mets take it.
DynoDude, welcome to the site. See ya

Hey thanks everyone. I grew up in Bethel, CT, so I know all about the CT guys, I can handle 'em. I moved to MA about 10 years ago, and before the Sox won the World Series, I couldn't care less about 'em. But since then, I've been a member of Red Sox Nation.
<T M T T>, you're probably right, maybe we could change "N.E.T.D.P Lurkster" to "The N.E.T.D.P Heart Breaker"?
And for PRattenbury, I live in Weymouth. There are a lot of towns on the South Shore, which one are you in?

MDD, I spent my first 17 years in Cohasset, Ma. So I'm real familiar with Weymouth. I haven't lived there in almost 30 years, but I visit a few times a year. Next time I'm up for a visit I'll probably run up to Cohasset. If Thurston's running, I'll maybe drive him. Betsey won't like it, though. :)
That's no way to try and make friends :stirthepot:
Being a Red sox fan is a great way to make friends (and enemies).
But I'm surprised, seeing as the Red Sox are in New England, and Ct. is in New England, why one would root for a team outside of New England. :dunno:
Anyways...welcome MDD.

Yes I did. At Steve's father's place, right? Which truck was yours?
The Yanks have closed the gap, but they're still 8 behind the Sox.
The one that made everyone scramble to put up a tarp because they thought the fire alarm was going to go off:falldownlaugh:

:falldownlaugh: pre-stack no doubt.... (and a bit more)
I've started thinking that a stack might be nice pubic-service-wellness on my behalf... Problem is, I run with a cap 9 outta 12 months of the year...
Nice, Jim, let the coal roll (My son still talks about your truck, he refers to it as the "band-aide" truck with a boo-boo... :smilielol:)
 Yep the Band aid truck:nopityA: All I added since then was the water/meth. and the stack (again):smokin:

lol he thought it was cool. He said I should get something like it from massdiesel, said that it (your truck) was cooler 'cause of the stack and smoke... So, keep the band-aide on, who knows, it might attract chics too.. :falldownlaugh:
 That a thinkin man right there! wanna kiss my boo-boo:TMTT:I kinda would like to see my smoke show, someone is holding it hostage on there camcorder:poke:

Sorry John, the phone's battery died. Anyway, what time Saturday? I could possibly come down with the dyno to show her, and take a look of where we might be able to set up.
I'll try calling you tomorrow when I have the battery charged to work it out. Also, we should start a new thread to see how many people we could get. I'll do that after talking to you tomorrow.

06-21-2007, 09:06 PM
Good idea, :exactly:
ONce you know, take it to the next level, e.g. own thread. Also, if you guys have time to scout out the area, mention what else is around for people to see. I know there are some good restaurants/bars on the water, that's always good for a hang out .. Nice dyno day, then eat some good snaks and have a couple of cold ones right on the dock... ah, nice.. :woohoo:
