now beefman said he would hook you up with some tuning so either take that or go out on your own and go to the place in ellsworth.

if you havent heard of anyone getting some tuning done from them there is a reason, go to some one who has experiance and spend the money or risk blowing the truck up your choice.

or better yet call the pelletiers he may know some one.

The place in Ellsworth by where Napa used to be is Colwell Diesel. They do heavy trucks only, and I highly doubt they touch EFI tuning. George gets all grumpy when I try to buy a Cummins thermostat or a Cummins head gasket because no one else sells them and he has a large "Authorized Cummins Dealer" sign on the road. They want to rebuild rigs, not "play with little trucks" in his words.

I have not heard of anyone doing it in the downeast region at all. Just buy a pre programmed one, or talk with the guys in southern Maine.

Or, call Diesel Fuel Systems in Bangor and ask them if they know anyone. Better yet, show up to the dyno day there on October 15th and ask all the guys that will be there from all over. That will be your best bet to meet some local diesel enthusiasts...

We got the guys taking care of they needed a new ECM but after that we set them up with a healthy EFI live tune the truck seems to go good now
