So I picked up a set of 36x12.5x16.5 good year OZ tires on military humvee rims today for my truck at a decent price of $400. I was going to run them on my truck but I come to some problems that I need help on. Should I get a set of aftermarket 16.5" rims or get the humvee wheels recentered? Or should I just resell the tires in general and not worth the trouble of spending the money on them. Any body on here have bad experiences with these tires? Just dont want to waste money on a set of rims and be stuck with them. Any help would be greatly appreciated :HoleShotHolset:

IIRC, you can use a simple wood router to open the centers. I have no input on the tires.

I know the difference between a 8x6.5 bolt pattern and a 8x170mm is like 1.1cm or something like that off.

bolt pattern is the same as dodge. the center hub bore is smaller on the GMs.

military tires have proven to be not so good for everyday drivers over the years.
