Fuel cut out

I just had my tranny built so i can really get on it now. The problem is when I have the smarty in and my juice on 6 it goes like crazy but like over half throttle i gets like a fuel cut out like stock fueling until I let off a little then its nuts again. On 5 it fine it never cuts out it just pulls . Does anyone know whats up here it kinda sux only having 5 cuz it does fuel past 2700. I also tried shutting the backdown off doesnt help. Thanks,

Go to MadsElectronics (http://www.madselectronics.com/DownloadS03A.html) Website and download Software version two.zip. I found this as well and with #2 you regain full on pedal travel.

Oh wait a sec. are you running timing as well on the ede with the smarty? If so use number 8 (I think which is full smarty no timing) What is happening is you are eunning the engine overtimed. The smarty AND the edge are stacking timing which at wide open you are killing peformance.

No I know only the evens on the smarty. It is when its on #8. I'm going to try downloading the second software. I'll let you guys know.

Let me know Idle speed once you dl the new software to the smarty. mine went to hold 800 STRONG IN GEAR but I got the full range of my pedal.

Idle speed is a stong 800. But no good on fixing the problem I had. I think I will take a ride down friday and take one of you guys for a ride.

Hmmm and you are running #8 Full smarty NO timing? Odd indeed. On the Edge can you disable Timing? if so do that and try #9(I did that in leu of the Van Aaken's Timing)

Yea smarty 8 and edge 6 is good until you hit a certain point in the throttle then it slows down and when you start letting off it takes off. On 5 its perfect. Idk?

There isnt a way on the edge to shut off the timing

I adjusted the apps off a little .433 should have been.495. Its more responsive but no different on level 6. :TqT: :dontgetit:

Ok I called edge friday and they were no help what so ever. I told the guy what I had and my problem and he said I had a bad vp-44. I told him it worked great on level5 and he said uhh no then nevermind lol. So then he told me that mabey my fuel rail couldnt keep up. I told him the truck doesnt have a rail. So then he said the chip wasnt made to be stacked I said thanks for the help c ya :yankyank:So now Idk what to do. I want to plug some one elses hot juice in to my harness and see if it does the same thing.
