Thats pretty cool Doug. I've been looking for some pulls locally. Anyone know of any more in the greater CT/MA/NY/VT area?

We're heading down around 3:00ish. Going to be some high horsepower trucks there....A couple from Pa. and one 3rd Gen that's been tearing up the pulling circuit since Mass Diesel finished it. :woohoo:

As small an area as New England is....it's still pretty big. You guys still heading to Epping for the Truck Nats Jim?

I wanted to, but will wait until next year.

You guys didn't miss much. The high lite of the event was a guy who borrowed his wife's Chevy Silverado for pulling. Suprisingly enough it did pretty well.

The two MassDiesel trucks were great, strong pullers.

I saw Scott Hovey in the food court area but no one else I recognized...

I wish I knew you were going Arthur, we could have met up somewhere.

Like Arthur said Jim, you didn't miss much...other than the two trucks Scott had come in.

I went at the last minute... I finished up work at about 430 and flew over there. Jim, I think only like 5-6 diesels all told. Two of them "heavily" modified (the Massdiesel sponsored trucks) so they ran in a class of their own. Only one pull each too, so it was pretty tame.

Next year I'll try and do a pull, ya know, a 5-speed 12 valve is always a crowd pleaser... :smilielol:

whos he sponsor some local guys?

I forget names, but they are from PA. The announcer said they were sponsored by him, but I'm not really sure. One 3500 dodge and a PSD. I only chatted w/ him for like a min, he had to run and was helping them get loaded on to leave... i looked on matpa.org and they're aren't any people listed. He did say that these same two had been in OH the night before, doing another pull.

I'm torn, I want to do something slightly competitive with my truck, but a 5-speed isn't exactly good for drag racing, and I'm hesitant to do anything as abusive as sled pulling...
