if you need it done in a day take it to a shop, IMHO.

This is something that can be done by anyone with good mechanical skills. You just have to make sure you have the tools and shims required to check and/or set end play. New shafts are usually very close, but its smart to check and adjust if needed.

I'm thinking ...the triple discTC and billet input....

WHAT ELSE should I do ? I haven't broken anything 'YET'

Except the 'lock' on the TC ... she slips in high gear with the Box...BUT NOT without

Back to stock - I think it would slip if I was hauling heavy though

3DTC and billet input sound about right, but you need a VB to provide the needed pressures to save the rest of the clutches

Any Idea how much that would cost and is it a 1 day job ?:dunno:

Are you interested in cost for labor only or parts also?
I would charge $650.00 for labor to install t.c. v.b. and input shaft
I dont know what brand part you want, but I sell Suncoast and Goerend stuff

I simply picked up the phone talked to Dave about what I had in mind and how much power I was going to make and he told me what he would do and I said lets do it. The only thing I wish I had the money for was the Billet shafts, somhow I know I am going to regret that desision....

Flip, you should also do a rebuild kit of all the soft parts while it's apart.

What would the "SOFT PARTS" consist of??

I haven't worked on a tranny in 30 years...so I will need to have someone do it for me

wonder what that will cost?? BUT I HAVE CAPITAL ONE in my wallet !:Paully6::woohoo::smilielol:
