Unless its a regulated power supply, it just takes voltage and runs with it, so if your putting out 10 volts thats all the system is getting versus 14.5 which is what the alternator is supposidly putting out as a constant, it's 3am and Im not really sure what Im trying to say....

anyone ever had an luck freeing up a stuck wastegate on a stock turbo? If so any hints? Got into it with my truck the other night and my boost guage went almost instantly to over 40lbs Out of town for a couple days but its deffinitly something I have to fix when I get back, so I am not replacing a headgasket in the near future.

unhook the arm and spray where it goes into the housing with penetrating lube and work it a few times to free it up.
