IDK what you have to tap into the fuel line, but any pressure gauge will work, oil, boost, fuel, water, ect. as long as it reads pressure.

Well before I even did my delivery valves I was making 54-56psi then after the delivery valves I was hitting 60 every time, now I'm having trouble hitting 50, and my fuel filter is fresh.

Yup a little cramped in there.. not nearly as bad a powerstroke either....

For the excursion...I priced out my sound deadneing stuff , damplifier pro ,about 240 square feet to mess with ....little over $800...argh..then another $300 for a nicer mat over that for just the floor.. DAMN... oh well got to save some $ ....
I dropped the Excursion down off the jack stands the other night and it looks nice ..getting me motivated to mess with it...

thats the next project oo..my '83 jetta coupe getting a Mechanical tdi and single round cabriolet front end..

got to get messing with the trans mission hump..the old chevy one isn't going to work so I have to fab one up...be nicer that way any how.any one have aline on a 271 ford manual shift transfercase..? I want to ditch the electronic button shift one soon before i do the driveshafts..does any one know if you can convert the elctronic 273 to a manual shift with parts from a 271.

I had to grind the flange that slides into the exh. housing just to get the thing to work.

God Dang newfangled contraption! Id never been underneath a duramax before then and wasn't very pleased to see a cheezy looking tubular crossmember and the transcooler cheaply mounted in front of the fuel tank. I can just picture those coolers covered in snow/ice/calcium.

both the excursion and the Jetta are looking pretty sweet. Never knew that had a coupe like that, should be awesome with the TDI in it.

I am pretty sure the GV type unit that goes between the trans and t-case is the US Gear aux trans. I think all gearvendors are made to mount after the t-case. I don't see a listing for you G56 though, only NV's http://www.usgear.com/dr_appprice.htm#dodge4

Welcome to my world, I've come so close to burning that truck of mine to the ground on several occasions. Want to really try your patience and test your sills? Swap a turbo on one of these whores.

Settle down Sally. Obviously it's not as big a deal with the winter build up as you think, and that's not the trans cooler as someone else mentioned, it's the fuel cooler.

Well, in the 5+ years I've owned my truck and been modding it, I've never read or heard of anyone having an issue with that cooler. If you swap in a Titan tank, you lose the fuel cooler (I'm 99% certain) and I don't know of people having an issue with that either. I also know that a Dmax guy was selling upgraded coolers, and was claiming that his customers were picking up 2-5 mpg in the summer time (west coast guys), as the fuel that returns to the tank is very hot since it was just under a lot of pressure in the fuel rails. Hit 100k on the way home from SeeFood and no problems for my fuel cooler.

Deo, I just did my rig with Raammat, floor, back wall, doors and roof and put ensolite foam down over the rest of it, made a nice difference, and was about 1/3 the price of Damplifier. Just an FYI.
