Thanks Dave. Something that could be done in derby? I had a mechanic look at my truck and told me they were worn pretty bad. The Reason I had it looked at was due to a Clunk i'm hearing when i brake in both forward & Reverse. Not Happening all the time, but enough to annoy me and worry me alittle when plowing. Tech said Everything eles was tight including u-joints, ball joints and trac bar. Moog would be a good source to get new one's right?

Moog's a great choice. Yeah its easy enough to do in Derby, I'd take the top nuts off, Lift the bar off, and then take the ones on the side out, and pop them out with a hammer. Tighten down the side nuts, on both sides, then have a friend guide the stud up through the hole in the bar as you set it down, then do the tops. Sounds confusing, but its real easy.

Yes they are really easy I had to do one with limited hand tools and it wasnt an issue in the upper woods of maine. I actually had the ball and socket fall apart on mine. Tell ya it was a scary ride the 20 miles to a parts store and back
