Sat. Aug. 11 Test & Tune Plus DDRA Diesel Drag Racing Assoc. Northeast Points Meet

There will be two classes--Big Rig Over One Ton--and Light Duty One Ton and Under

The gates open at 8am and test and tune starts at 9am.
$40 entry fee with two time trials and then race.

That place is my second home, I'm there almost every Saturday Night for the dirt track and lots of the Sunday drag races.

Hey guys Im the one that posted that message on a couple other diesel sites. Id encourage everyone to go. I know Doug and he told me he had to battle with Lebanon Valley to hold a diesel day. They said they tried it once before and it didnt work. However now everyone and their cousin has a diesel pickup.

Yep I know a few that will be attending also. Hopefully its well attended so they will bring back more events! I believe there is whats turning out to be a rather large Diesel drag day in MD that same day, it may split the attendance somewhat but for the NE guys, the NY events alot closer and we need to show our support!

Lebanon Valley is 1/4 mile. Double the $$ over NED to run too.

Me thinks alot of the Ford guys backed out.

But a few still may go up including me.

Dont know if it would be faster to run up I91 to Mass Pike in Agawam,Mass or Go up Route 8 past Colebrook Res and hit the Mass Pike up there?

A good meeting point would be the truck stop in Canaan, NY. Its right near Lebanon Valley, and it would be good for people who are getting off of I-90, as it passes right by there also.

Seems like almost all people that are going can easily access the Rt 8 corridor.
What say we set up a few exits and times along rt 8 to get a convoy going.
Rt 34 Mcdonalds in Derby at 6am for the southern boys.
How about the Dunkin Donuts on RT 8 right by Northwest Community college around 7:15 for the northern Boys?

The web site says gates open at 8, racing starts at 9, so I think that should be ok. It takes 45 minutes to get there from my house in Falls Village (Canaan) if your bustin' azz.

You guys gonna stick around for the 100 lap Big Block modifieds race over at the dirt track?

They're crowning Miss Lebanon Valley that night.
